Evangelites Knock with us

"And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends."

Job 42:10, ESV

Before you ask for anything, pray for somebody else.

That is the whole rule of this wall. Somebody put this request up and has been waiting on a stranger. Read it, actually pray it, and then the wall is yours.

The prayer wall

Real people, real names, mostly strangers.

Every request here came from somebody who found a card in their door or walked past this page. Pray for as many as you have time for. When one gets answered, they come back and say so.

Your turn

Now tell us what you need.

You can leave your name off entirely. You can say as little as one sentence. Nobody is going to sell your information, add you to a list, or show up at your door because you posted here.

Requests are read by a person before they appear, usually within a few hours. We take down anything that names somebody else, shares an address, or was posted to hurt someone.

If God answers it, come back and tell us. That is how the answered column fills up, and those are the ones that make somebody in another state decide to go knock on doors.

Would you like anything besides prayer?

Your contact information is never posted publicly. Requests appear after a person reviews them.

If you are in danger right now, please do not wait on us. Call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or 911 for an emergency. We read everything, but we are volunteers and this wall is not a crisis service.

Running on sample requests. Open pray.html, find SUPABASE_URL and SUPABASE_ANON_KEY near the bottom, and paste yours in. The SQL to create the tables is in supabase-setup.sql.

What just happened

You prayed for a stranger. That is the entire job.

What you just did on a screen is what our volunteers do on a porch. If you can read somebody's hard week and ask God to help them, you can already do this. Everything else is a map and a stack of cards.
